Role of director of a kindergarten in shaping school culture

Thesis deals with the role of the director of a kindergarten within shaping of the school culture and with the potential of school culture in terms of contemporary education. Thesis focuses on the factors which the director influences the most and which leads to increased level of quality of teachers' work. In the theoretical part the emphasis is on understanding the concepts in the school culture, school climate, management and leadership and also on relationships in kindergarten, which create and develop a quality society. Further, the thesis concerns the research investigation, which detects the orientation of the issue of school culture and current use of knowledge in connection to the management of kindergarten. This entity may be formed by a different number of kindergartens. Function headmistress brings a large amount of the duties, responsibilities and necessary skills knowledge management. Their list highlights the difficult and hard work director. The director of the kindergarten in its sole discretion and to the extent that it determines legislation specifies certain ways of working procedures, organization and decisions so that kindergarten filled its function. This thesis deals with the differences in the management of kindergartens with different number of centers in the Region. Kitzberger Abstract: The bachelor thesis discusses the role of the of the school code as a tool for kindergarten manager. It deals with the school code creation and usage. As a base for the thesis was used related law and publications. Research about the topic was realized among kindergarten's directors. Outputs of the research were analyzed. Competency model of director nursery school

The bachelor thesis deals with the competences of the nursery school director. The aim of this work is to create a proposal of a competency model of the nursery school director. In the theoretical part it defines the concept of competence by means of specialized literature and denotes the competences needed for leading employees. The third chapter describes the types of competencies and the origin, types and use of competency models. The competencies that are further elaborated in the theoretical part on the basis of the selected model are leadership, managerial, professional, personal, social competences and management and evaluation of the educational process. All competencies are observable in human behavior. At the end of the third chapter, the historical context and the specific environment are presented in the nursery school. In the empirical part, based on the analysis of four interviews and two mind maps of the interviewed directors of nursery school, a proposal of a competency model for the kindergarten principal is created. The bachelor thesis deals with the competences of the nursery school director. The aim of this work is to create a proposal of a competency model of the nursery school director. In the theoretical part it defines the concept of competence by means of specialized literature and denotes the competences needed for leading employees. It describes the types of competencies and the origin, types and use of competency models. In the empirical part, based on the analysis of interviews and mind maps of the nursery school director, a proposal for a competency model for the director. The work is intended for future nursery school director who are preparing for bankruptcy proceedings, but it can also be used to identify areas that existing directors of nursery schools and their representatives could or should continue to develop as part of their professional development and as an inspiration for creating a competency model of a nursery school managera.
